Jack N. Alpern
Jack Alpern is the founder and shareholder in The Alpern Law Firm, located in Warren, Ohio. Mr. Alpern graduated from The Ohio State University College of Arts and Sciences, earning a degree in history and political science. He received his juris doctor degree from The Ohio State University College of Law, where he was the recipient of the George W. Wrightmire award for leadership. He also completed both basic and advanced estate planning courses at Case Western University College of Law. Mr. Alpern is a member of the State Bar of Ohio and the Ohio State and Trumbull County bar associations.

Maryjo Cleveland, M.D.
Maryjo Cleveland joined Summa Health System in 1992 and has served as the medical director of The Summa Center for Senior Health since 2002, where she oversees the ambulatory arm of Summa’s geriatric program in addition to implementing quality measures and new programs. Dr. Cleveland is also a clinical assistant professor at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and Pharmacy (NEOUCOM) and at Ohio University. She graduated from Michigan State University Medical School in 1987 and completed her residency at Summa Health System in 1990 and a geriatric fellowship at University Hospitals in Cleveland in 1992.

Lori Flesher
Lori Flesher, MSW, LISW, is the bereavement coordinator with Summa’s Palliative Care and Hospice Services. She has been with Hospice of Summa for nine years and has 11 years of experience in social work, focusing on end-of-life care. She has work experience in home care and has taught social work classes at The University of Akron. Flesher also has a special interest in caregiver issues.

Paul Holm
Paul Holm holds degrees in music education/secondary education from Anderson University. After serving in two churches as minister of worship, he joined the staff of Junior Achievement in Fort Wayne, Ind. Since the fall of 2004, he has been working as executive director for Rebuilding Together Summit County, which has served more than 800 low-income elderly and disabled homeowners with home repairs and modifications.

Catherine S. Maxwell, M.D., FACP
Catherine Maxwell is a Summa physician, board certified in internal medicine with added qualifications in geriatric medicine, and is associate director of The Summa Center for Senior Health. She serves as a clinical professor of internal medicine at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and Pharmacy (NEOUCOM). Dr. Maxwell graduated from St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Akron General Medical Center. She is currently in practice with Summit County Geriatricians.

Kim Mozzochi
Kim Mozzochi is a care management supervisor for the Area Agency on Aging. She has been employed at the agency for 19 years. Her current position includes the supervision of the Care Coordination, Family Caregiver, Alzheimer’s Respite, PASSPORT Homecare and Wayne APS programs. She is responsible for planning and presenting caregiver trainings to educate caregivers; supervising the staff who provide long term respite to caregivers; and managing the voucher program.

Elizabeth Mulroy
Elizabeth Mulroy is education director of Alzheimer’s Association Greater East Ohio Chapter. Her responsibilities include providing leadership direction for the development, implementation and evaluation of the Alzheimer’s Association’s educational programs for 17 counties. She holds a bachelor’s degree in gerontology from Kent State University.

Cynthia Sich
Cynthia Sich began her career in consumer protection enforcement and education with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office Consumer Protection and Advocacy Section. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and graduate certificate in gerontology from the University of Arizona. In 2001, Ms. Sich relocated to Wisconsin to manage the State Bureau of Consumer Protection Green Bay Regional Office. She began her duties as director of the Summit County Office of Consumer Affairs in 2005.
