| One 30-minute lesson Students find out why many wildlife species in the United States are more abundant now than during the past 100 years. They watch wildlife biologists study black bears in Maine; trap and relocate wild turkeys in Missouri and bighorn sheep in the Southwest; and census caribou in Alaska. The program illustrates the importance of protecting and enhancing America’s wildlife. |
