Helping students learn math and science is the goal of this PBS 45 & 49 multimedia project. The Soap Box Derby provides the framework for teachers to facilitate the application of concepts needed to prepare for Ohio’s proficiency tests.

The video series follows two kids as they learn to build a Soap Box Derby car. Each video is a lesson starter that leads to hands-on CD-ROM, DVD and Web site activities.
