The Language of Trauma and Loss is
a series designed to allow students at the elementary, middle school
and high school levels to have a forum for expressing feelings of
loss or trauma that have occurred in their lives.
The first program is a professional development video
that illustrates the important role that brain processes play in
the development of the child, what makes a “safe” classroom
and what role teachers should play when dealing with students who
have problems.
The other programs are tied to the language arts standards
and focus in on the needs of students.
