Maintenance Engineer
PBS 45 & 49 is seeking a well-qualified Maintenance Engineer
for its television and multimedia services. As the broadcast
world merges with the computer world, the candidate should
have excellent computer skills including, master control
automation, servers, and traffic systems; computer networks
and software, including but not limited to Microsoft OS 2000
and XP, and Office, streaming and multi-media for Internet
and mobile services. The candidate should have knowledge
and understanding of: ATSC and NTSC broadcast, including
digital and analog studio systems; basic digital electronics
diagnostics and repair; FCC Rules and Regulations. Candidates
should have, as a minimum, a combination of 5 years of education
and experience in a related field. SBE certification is preferred.
Candidates should have good verbal and written communication
skills. As an employee you will be required to be available
24/7. This is a fulltime position with excellent benefits.
Salary range is $40-45K, depending on knowledge and experience.

Major Gifts/Planned Giving
Officer
PBS 45 & 49, public
television serving all of northeast Ohio, seeks a full-time
major gifts/planned giving officer to maintain and grow the
station’s major gifts program and establish a planned
giving program. Along with the Vice President of Development,
the officer will establish fund-raising goals and develop
and implement strategies to reach those goals, including
donor cultivation cycles and event planning.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of principles for and a proven track record of
success in major and planned giving;
familiarity with fund-raising data tools; excellent written
and verbal communication skills; strong computer skills;
and at least three years of experience in fund-raising. The
ideal candidate will demonstrate personal characteristics
associated with successful development professionals, including
integrity, initiative, positive attitude, strong interpersonal
skills and a high level of maturity and judgment to motivate
colleagues and inspire confidence among prospects, donors,
estate planning professionals and volunteers. Bachelor's
degree or higher preferred. Cover letter and resume must

Salary range $45,000-$65,000, depending on experience. Benefits
include health insurance and participation in OPERS, the
