Super Readers to the rescue! With an interactive approach to reading education, classic fairytales with an innovative preschool twist and colorful and empowering young heroes, Super Why captivates children, families and teachers alike.

This breakthrough preschool series is designed to help children ages 3 to 6 with the critical skills that they need to learn (and love) to read, as recommended by the National Reading Panel.

Each 24-minute reading adventure begins in Storybrook Village, a magical 3-D world hidden behind the bookshelves in a children’s library. Immediately, you meet the four best friends who anchor each episode: Red from Little Red Riding Hood; Pig from The Three Little Pigs; Princess from The Princess and the Pea; and Whyatt, the curious younger brother of Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk.

Each episode starts with a problem to which preschoolers can relate. That’s when the characters transform into literacy-powered super heroes! Wonder Red takes on word power, Alpha Pig has alphabet power, Princess Presto has spelling power and Super Why has the power to read.

Using their super powers, the heros literally fly inside books to solve problems. Each episode ends with the characters modeling the behavior, so children can actually see the problem being fixed.
