New Lending Library Site Opens in Mahoning County

The Professional Family Day Care Provider’s Association of Mahoning Valley, Inc. will serve as the Valley’s host for our PBS 45 & 49 Ready To Learn Lending Library. The association was formed to ensure that family childcare providers would have a voice in making the decisions governing the profession of family childcare.

Provider House is the vision that “all training and services for providers should be offered by providers and made available in one location.”

Provider House is located at 1920 Church Hill Road, Suite 205, Girard, Ohio, 44420. Childcare centers and Professional Type A and Type B Family Child Care Providers will be able to borrow PBS 45 & 49’s Watch, Do & Read literacy kits to enhance literacy in their programs, in accordance with the Ohio Academic Content Standards.

The PBS 45 & 49 Literacy Kits are available for checkout on the third Saturday of every month during the hours of 11 am to 1 pm. Messages can be left for Fay Mitchell, a Professional Type B Family Childcare Provider and the association’s Lending Library coordinator, at (330) 539-4449.
