Spring 2005 Ohio Ready To Learn Workshops for Family Childcare Providers

We are once again offering a series of five trainings for the family childcare professional. The workshops will be geared to the new State of Ohio Pre-K Standards.

Phase 1: Every Child Has Potential (Brain development and math — based on the math standards)
Phase 2: Relationships Are Influential (Social/emotional development — based on the social studies standards)
Phase 3: Communication Is Critical (Literacy development — based on the English/language arts standards)
Phase 4: Environments Are Important in Learning (Learning environment and science — based on the science standards)
Phase 5: Challenging Behaviors (Managing the challenging behaviors of children)
