Amaze your family!

Tell your family
you have an amazing memory. You have 22 cards that have eight digit numbers
on them and you have memorized them all. Then play this little trick!
This is really slick!
- Take 22 index
cards and number them from 1 to 22 in large numbers on the front.
- Announce that
you have memorized all the eight-digit numbers written on the backs
of the cards.
- Choose one card
from the pack. Let's say you picked 14. Add nine to 14 and then reverse
the numbers. (9 + 14 = 23 reversed this is 32). These are the first
two numbers in your eight number set. (32, _ _ _, _ _ _)
- Get the remaining
six numbers by adding together the two numbers before the blank. (3+2=
5) (32, 5 _ _, _ _ _). The next number will be 7 or 2 + 5. (32, 57 _,
_ _ _)
- The next number
will be 5 + 7 or 12. When adding results in a two-digit number, take
only the number in the "ones" place. Your number now is 32,572,
_ _ _.
- Continue in this
way. 7 + 2 = 9 so now you have 32,572,9 _ _. Next is 2 + 9 = 11 so your
number is 32,572,91 _. And finally 9 + 1 = 10 so your total number is
32,572,910.
