the Adam Walsh Protection Act. Today, states that don’t
comply with the act risk losing funding for their work against
sexual offenders.
Ohio legislatures are trying
to pass through three bills that put more restrictions on
sexual offenders. With over 800 currently registered sexual
offenders in Summit County and about 70 percent of them
living in the Akron area, Sheriff Drew Alexander has a lot
to handle already.
